All tax returns must be postmarked on April 15th. While most post offices keep regular hours the closet one to Hasbrouck Heights that has extended hours is in New york City. The James A. Farley Main post office at 821 8th Avenue in Manhattan,across the street from Penn Station/ Madison Square Garden.
The post office lobby is open 24 hours a day, but you may call to confirm the hours on tax deadline day.
