What do you get when a husband from the Caribbean and a wife from Hong Kong decide to open a restaurant?
Mambo Tea House, located in Rutherford, N.J.!
A contemporary restaurant that serves Cuban and Latin cuisine, Mambo Tea House exhibits a mix of the couple’s style, which is dubbed “Combo at the Mambo” on the restaurant’s website.
“Combo at the Mambo” extends beyond food, too. The combination of style and taste is seen in the bright green and fuchsia walls, the floral and Cuban cigar wallpapering and the wood ceiling fans painted with bright pink hibiscus flowers. The large restaurant also has bamboo flooring and plenty of seating for those who would like to try the cuisine.
