Hasbrouck Heights Zoning Board granted unanimous approval to build four two family homes on the Sylvester’s property.

The developers have really taken into account the town fiscally by having one unit of these homes only a 1 bedroom.  This means even with two family homes, there is less of an impact on the school system.  It’s great to see a developer, in this case two guys have the community in mind as well.  I applaud both Richard Banca and Ralph Manfredonia for their vision.

Zoning Board member John Mazza felt the proposal was a “good compromise for the neighborhood and the way we look at zoning. It accomplishes what is better for the town and the citizens of the town.”

Kremer said it was in the best interest of the neighborhood to see something built at that location as “what’s there now is at no advantage to anyone.”

The building currently on the site is in very poor condition.  The way the homes will be constructed an their position, make this a great Development!
